Responsibilities:

• Welcome all members, guests, and visitors to the pool area
• Perform rescues and follow appropriate protocols, including utilizing first aid equipment
• Regularly test water quality, adjust chemicals as necessary, and maintain accurate records
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool, pool deck, and pump room
• Assist with equipment maintenance and promptly report any malfunctions or issues
• Address inquiries or comments from members and guests, referring as needed
• Enforce the aquatics schedule professionally
• Conduct swimming tests to assess patrons swimming abilities
• Complete required paperwork
• Adhere to employee standards of conduct and ethics
• Understand and follow club building, facilities, service, program, and emergency procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 16
• Authorization to work in the USA
• Successful completion of Lifeguard training
• Strong motivation to work and have a rewarding experience (no prior experience necessary!)
